Roles & Responsibilities :-
Rail Signaling :-
** Expert in Design and Drawing of Signaling design Package Like Signaling Interlocking Plan,Cable Route plan,Cable Core plan,Axle Counter Schematics and all kinds of Signaling Interface Circuits for SSI,Digital Axle counter Circuits.
** Proficient in Instalaltion and Commissioning of AFTC,Digital Axle Counter,Electrically Operated Interlocking Gates,LMU’s in Linux and Windows based Proficiently commissioning and Networking of TCAS,TMS And Data Loggers.
** Designing Railway Signaling Yard Elements from the customer requirement based on the project related soft-wares and preparbly AutoCAD.
** Write &Read the programs of tags data with concern TCAS software.and prepare the TCAS application tag data.
** Check the online-offline animations in particular train movements, and clear the errors in yard signaling layouts at customer location.
** Prepare and ex-cute the Application data in project wisely.and supporting to Ground level engineers.
** Prepare the database as per customer requirement and build the exception Logics,based on the RDSO Guidelines.
** In Critical sitivation of the site based on the customer requirement we should go for site and install and commissioning the projects.

TCAS :-
** As the name suggests, TCAS is a comprehensive train protection system which is designed to prevent head-on, rear-end and side-on collisions. In addition, TCAS offers a number of Automatic Train Protection (ATP) features such as Signal Passed at Danger (SPAD) prevention, cab signaling and speed control.
** The system also has a manual SOS function, which can be activated either by the driver or the station supervisor. TCAS can detect and alert incidents of derailment, train splitting and rollbacks, and provides protection against collisions at level crossings.
** All the train movements info given the control room based on the TCAS (RBS & GPRS and GSM) based systems & cross checking with Central Location through NMS.Used in CBTC technology for TCAS project.
** NMS-Network Management System,from all stations connected to central Location And Monitoring the all train Movements.

TMS :-
** Train Management System (TMS) /Centralized Train Control (CTC) covers following two categories of functions,centralized operation of signaling for a large section encompassing multiple interlocked stations and Centralized real time monitoring of train traffic for enabling efficient decision making for traffic control of large section.
** Lack of domain Knowledge in Signaling and Traditional Route Relay Interlocking Systems, This creates a technological gap between the software programmers and the Domain consultants,and This leads to Errors in software, which might lead to unsafe failures of the system.
** Check the online & offline yard animations with particular train movements at various sections from remote locations or control room.All the train movements info given the control room based on the DLE Equipment & cross checking with CC cameras in Kolkata underground metro.As per customer requirement we have done at automatic chart application in Kolkata underground metro.
** NMS-Network Management System,from all stations connected to central Location And Monitoring the all train Movements.
** Install to All CCTV Camera’s in Every Station and Connected from One-One and Connected to Central Location.And Monitoring the Live Movements from Time Table,And cross verify the NMS Movements.

SSI(Solid State Interlocking) :-
** Electronic Interlocking (EI) system is a microprocessor based interlocking equipment to read the yard and panel inputs; process them in a fail-safe manner as per selection table and generate required output.


This system is the alternative to the conventional Relay Interlocking system (PI & RRI).
** The field inputs are collected using digital input cards and outputs are given using digital output cards. The processing is done by a processor where the virtual relays (Software Variables) are evaluated using the Interlocking equations, which are now in digitized form either as Algorithms.
** Maintenance Terminal consists of a standard PC with performs the Display of the current status of points, signals controls etc. of the yard and the Storage of minimum one month data or 10,00,000 events. Display the recorded events.
** NMS-Network Management System,from all stations connected to central Location And Monitoring the all train Movements.

ATCS(Automatic Train Charting System) :-
** Train charting software provides visual representation of the movement of trains from origin to the destination stations with actual arrival and departure times at different stations of the network. Besides, the software also provides projected train movement for a specific period of time.
** The software works based on the data generated by Data loggers connected in the network. The facility will allow the controller to reprioritize and cancel some trains. In case there are any unforeseen delays too, the controller can go back to default priority settings basis.
** The plotting of control chart is based on the information logged by the Data logger wherever continuous Data logger network exists. Manual entry provision is also there so that the section controller can go for manual charting of the train movement.

AFTC(Audio frequency track circuit) :-
** The Audio Frequency Track Circuits during the trial period as measured against the bench mark track circuits namely DC track circuits currently being used by Indian railways on one of its main lines [SC - KZA section].
** An RDSO approved version of Data logger captures the relay information of the track circuits and stores them in a database. The application software then performs requisite analysis and generates reports.
** Analyze the Functional behavior of the Audio Frequency Track circuits and including bobbing or chattering, during or after the trains passage on the track circuit Analyze the Un safe failures, i.e. concerned relay in pick up state when train present on the track circuit,and Compare the availability of the AFTC System with respect to DC Track Circuits.

DLE(Data Logger Equipment) :-
**  DLE is electronic equipment designed to log the events generated in the Yard. The logged events in the DLE will be retrieved using Yard Viewer application through RS232 Communication. It is used as a predictive maintenance system in Signaling System for Indian Railways.
** Yard viewer Software receives events from DLE, after receiving the events the software analyzes the raw data and it is used for the following purpose :-

a)Alarms will be generated as per predefined conditions available in Database.
b)Generates the reports for Analog, Digital, exceptions, speed restrictions, configuration data, and equipment expiry from time to time.
