Project Details :
QSAR studies and synthesis of certain pyrazoline and azetidinone of quinolone carboxylic acid derivat
ives and evaluation of their aamylase inhibitory activity and other possible biological activities.
This study was aimed to develop QSAR models by using multiple linear regressions, in order to identify descriptors which will focus towards the biological activity and will assist in predicting the biological activity of a newer set of quinolines without actually synthesizing them.
Achievements :
Project has been awarded scholarship from “Tamilnadu Pharmaceutical Science Welfare TrustChennai” for securing 3 rd rank in the M Pharmacy project.
Seminars Attended :
Participated as a delegate in the 62nd Indian Pharmaceutical Congress on 1719 December 2010,at Manipal.
Participated as a delegate in the oneday seminar on Issues and Opportunities in Drug Development organized by Sri Vasavi Institute Of Pharmaceutical Sciences Tadepalligudam on 20th September2011.
Technical Sessions :
Hospital training at Govt Hospital of Vinukonda for the duration of 500 hours (3 months) during D.PHARM.
