Projects executed  :
(Mini) Title  : “Differential gear lock”
Aim  : To transmit the torque from engine equally to rear wheels through rear axle.
Description  : Differential lock system is the modification of differential system. If one wheel slips on a slippery road, the wheel becomes stationary, all power flowing to the slipping wheel.


This results in no movement of vehicle. In order to overcome this difficulty differential lock system is used so that the torque from the engine is equally transmitted to rear wheels through rear axle.

(Major) Title  : “Study and controlling the losses of unburned in the bottom ash of boiler.”
Aim  : To study and control the losses of unburned in the bottom ash of boiler.
Description  : Un-burnt are the resultant of incomplete combustion and various factors affecting the complete combustion were identified as Pulverization, Fuel Distribution, Air Distribution, condition of furnace. Necessary steps were taken so that the unburned loss is controlled.
Project expo  :
Participated in one day project expo on “DIFFERENTIAL LOCK” in AAVISHKAR 2010, held at VEL TECH, Chennai.

Extra curricular and co-curricular activities  :
Organized robo-race in our department symposium-FORGE’ 10.
Participated in robowar events in MECHAMORPHIS’10 at KCG.
Participated in robotics event in DERROCHE’09 at SAIRAM.
Participated in auto quiz in SAE INDIA student convection 2009.
