Pipe Thickness calculation, Pipe size calculation, Pipe Rack width calculation, etc.
Knowledge Of :
International codes like ASME B31.3, B 16.9, B 16.25 etc. & MSSSP standards.

Work Experience :
A) Currently working with JSW Steel Ltd in the Coke Oven Dept., as Piping Engineer from April 2010 till date :
Projects Handled :
1. Project Name : Piping of waste water from the ovens to Effluent Treatment Plant.
Designation : Piping Engineer
Responsibilities :
Developed orthographic & isometric drawings for the modification project
Prepared Piping Material Specification (PMS). (in accordance to ASME B31.3)
Prepared BOM & MTO for the piping system.
Reviewed about the modification with the maintenance team.
Made use of guide & ‘L’ & clamp supports wherever necessary.
Fabricated Piping spools as per the drawings.
Executed the project i.e. fabrication & erectioning of piping system.
2. Project Name : Effluent Treatment Plant of waste water from Coke Oven Batteries.
Designation : Piping Engineer.
Responsibilities :
Verifying the piping material specification.
Review & cross check of Equipment Layout & Isometrics, Pipe routings from drawings.
Piping of the entire ETP facility, i.e.
Fabrication & erectioning of entire piping system in ETP.
Carried out for two such ETP’s.
Review BOM’s, P& ID’s, and PFD during the erectioning.
Developed Isometrics for certain Pipe routings where Clashes found.
3. Project Name : Modification of Hydraulic line.
Designation : Piping Engineer.
Responsibilities :
Prepared PMS for the system. (in accordance to ASME B31.3)
Preparation isometric drawings for the modification line.
Selection of pipes & fittings, Preparation of BOM for fittings & Pipes.
Generate drawing on PDMS & discuss with the higher authorities & with maintenance personnel’s.
Execution of the fabricated Piping system by replacing the old existing piping system.
Carried out in 4 charging cars of coke oven.
4. Project Name : Emergency Water quenching system for Hot Coke.
Designation : Piping Engineer.
Responsibilities :
Designed water quenching system for hot coke in PDMS.
Developed isometric drawings for the system.
Prepared PMS for the system.(in accordance to ASME B31.3)
Prepared BOM for fittings & Pipes.
Designed a Pipe rack for the system.
Executed its erection & fabrication along with 11 member team.
B) Worked as Quality Control Engineer at Gujarat InfraPipes Pvt. Ltd, Por, Vadodara, Gujarat. :
It involved inspection of Pipe Fittings like elbows, tees reducers (Seamless & Welded) in accordance to ASME B 16.9 & B16.25.
It also involved carrying out NDT tests like UT, RT & PT.
Offering the fittings for third party inspection like EIL, Technip, SGS, Jacobs, and CPCL.
