Duties and Responsibilities :
** Shall ensure that fabrication, Welding activities are ongoing as per project specification requirements and as per the latest AFC drawings Attend meetings with client/contractors/vendor.
** Implementation of QA/QC procedures as required by company and clients.
** Co-ordination with piping counterpats in client/contractor, organizations.
** Site visits and data collection from client’s offices/plants.
** Review and approvalof vendor drawings and documents.
** Ensure satisfactory identification of materials, proper protection of piping and fittings. Verify proper size and schedule of pipe, rating of flanges, proper flange face and fitting.

** Checking of items which has been erected (check for alignment, grouting, bolt tightening, paint touch ups etc).
** Insure that pipes support, hanger and guides have been installed in accordance with the piping drawings and the pipe support details.
** Responsible For Supervisor/Forman.
** Shall ensure that fabrication, Welding activities are ongoing as per project specification requirements and as per the latest AFC drawings.
** Shall ensure that only qualified welders are deployed on job.
** For any pipes installed on sleeper or pipe racks the live lines shall be protected and hard barricades shall be provided.
** Follow client approved bolt tightening/ torqueing procedure.
** Proper barricades and sign boards shall be provided inside the plant area.
** Before to start fabrication ensure pipe and fittings shall be selected as per approved tie in ISO drawing.
** We ensure for golden joint shall be follow as per closure weld procedure.
** We shall be responsible for execution of work in compliance to the project HSE and quality requirement.
** Co-ordination with client inspector for final inspection and witness point of inspection.
** Inspection of piping material as per codes and process standard specification.
** Daily Report and All Quality Control Activities.
** Cross checking of isometric drawing with GA drawing and P&ID before starting the prefabrication.
** We cover the fire resistance blankets around tie in joint and ensure all at adjacent equipments And live pipe lines are protected from spatters flying around during welding grinding or their activities.
** All piping shall be checked (Punched out) to confirm that the final installation is in accordance with the latest revision of the relevant P & ID and ISO.
** Material received shall be segregated with respected to the type of material (CS,MS SS,LTCS,AS) Separately according to the color code.
