Objective :To provide a 6 speed range with a larger comfort for Driving.
Role : Maintenance of Automatic Transmission System on BEST buses, prepare comparative data and give suggestions to improve the performance of Transmission System.

WORK EXPERIENCE :

Designation :Trainee Technician on Apprentice basis
Time Period : 3 Months (Feb 2012 to April 2012)
Job Profile :
Prevantative servicing and Restorative servicing.
Preventative servicing involved performing scheduled servicing to keep a vehicle running well.
This may include things like checking and changing oil, air and fuel filters, checking wheels allignment and tyre rotation, checking and replacing fluids (Engine oil, Gear oil, Brake fluid, Transmission fluids, Coolant, Water, etc.), testing battery condition, checking brake system components, clutch setting, and many other tasks.
Restorative Servicing involved complex diagnosis dealing with noise, vibration or a smell.
Minor repairs such as balance rod bush and lower arm ball joint were to be checked and replaced if found faulty
All light were to be checked properly. Wiring system is checked. Repaired or replaced if found faluty.
Gear box inspected properly. Gears are replaced if gears teeths are damaged. Proper oiling of Transmission box is necessary.
Doors, Windows, Door lock, are inspected properly and repaired or replaced if damaged.
Tyre rotation should be done for vehicles running over large distance. Front and rear tyres are swapped from their position.
Suspension Noise if found then all the joints are checked and bolts are tightened with required amount of torque.
Wiper Motor is replaced if the wiper blade are not working properly. Wiper blade may also be replaced depending upon its condition.
Brakes when becomes hard then in case of Hydraulic breaking, master cylinder and piston are oiled properly or replaced.
