Handlings supply chain for castings, which includes raw material planning, casings procurement & machining of castings.
Supplier selection & sourcing new supplier for rate reduction & quality development of al.casting, sheet metal parts & machine parts, costing of new parts.Developing process involved in manufacturing of component
Purchasing of machine parts, i.e. Electrical, Mechanical spare parts. and consumables i.e. Tools, Capital purchasing i.e. gauges, fixtures, machinery.
Day to day follow up with supplier for timely delivery, maintaining proper inventory at subcontractor end.
Monthly schedule, and follow up, Inventory control, interaction with store daily.
Study of each process at vendor end for improving productivity, looking after vendors technical & commercial problems, , supplier evaluation,
Negotiation with supplier and releasing purchase order.
Review of daily rejection & rework at subcontractor & on line.
Awareness of SAP & ERP working.

Working of the total material requirement for the month based on the production plan.
Scheduling the vendors and monitoring the flow of materials as per the exact requirements.
Development of alternative suppliers for the new development projects or cost effectiveness/ cost reduction purpose. Co-ordination of the Quality, Delivery problems with the vendors so as to ensure right quality material at right location & time.
Material procurement like bought out parts, raw material, and consumables i.e.
Tools, Capital purchasing i.e. machinery
Timely procurement of materials, Maintaining Min Stock level, inventory control.
Negotiation with supplier and placing purchase order for materials.
Follow up with stores, maintain stock report and procure min.stock level material

Continuous improvement projects for improving productivity & quality.
Manufacturing pilot lot with machine recommended, tools, time taken before hand over to production. First piece inspection and attending modification for further trial.
