I am working as an piping designer/consultant-responsible in the field of detail engineering of piping design,pipe routing,GA of piping layout,equipment layout,isometric dwg.,supporting arrangements ,material estimation,technical guidence to other subordinates and other related activities for different projects. Educational / Technical Qualification : :
Higher Secondary Examination passed out in 1971 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English in 2nd Division from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (Calcutta).

A) from June 2011 till to date :
At present I am working with M/s SIEMENS V A I Metals Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Kolkata office as an consultant (piping).
Here I am assigned with the job of Rourkella Steel Plant(India) and engaged with the jobs for technical guidance to prepare piping layout drawings, arrangement drawing and detail drawing for the utility and process system, to review and checking of detail engineering drawing and documents as well as vender drawings. The scope of work was also included to design and preparation of piping G.A. / Layout & isometric drawing, material take – off, composite piping, supporting arrangements,resized piping ,drawing checking and other general activities.
B) from November 2004 to March 2011 :
I was assigned with M/s Development Consultants Pvt. Ltd,(DCPL) in Kolkata (India)..
I was engaged as an Lead Designer (piping) with the jobs for technical guidance to prepare piping layout drawings, arrangement drawing and detail drawing for the utility and process system, to review and checking of detail engineering drawing and documents as well as vender drawings. The scope of work was also included to design and preparation of piping G.A. / Layout & isometric drawing, material take – off, composite piping, supporting arrangements,resized piping and other general activities for their Naptha CrackerProject –Hazira(Gujarat,India) under Reliance Industries Ltd. and I was engaged with there project e.i. Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd.(West Bengal-India) under M/s Toyo Engineering (I) Ltd.(Mumbai) with the same nature of job as mentioned above. The calculation & inputting of entire loading of proposed pipe routing on heater pipe rack for structural design, I.D.
checking for clashing between pipes and structure,development of H2 bottleing plant piping , site visit on requirement was also scope of my job activities.
I have worked for the project of PUNJAB REFINERY on tankage area under consultancy of M/s Engineers India ltd (Delhi).
C) Nov. 2003 to Oct. 2004 :
I was assigned with M/s Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (L&T) at their EDRC, Kolkata office .
Assigned with the jobs for technical guidance to prepare piping layout drawings, arrangement drawing and detail drawing for the utility and water system, to review and checking of detail engineering drawing and documents as well as vender drawings. The scope of work also includes to design and preparation of piping G.A. / Layout drawing, material take – off, supporting arrangements and other general activites for their Blast Furnace Gas Project under Tata Iron & Steel Co, Jamshedpur.
D)_July 2000 to Sep. 2003 :
I was assigned with M/s NICCO Corporation Ltd. Project Div. Kolkata .The scopes of work were to preparation the piping isometric drgs. supporting drgs., material take-off and to check up the piping G.A. drgs. For their Methanol Injection and Segregation of Hut-But Oil Line ONGC-URAN and National Aluminium Corporation, Damonjodi (Orissa).
The nature of jobs are also to preparation the as-built isometric dwgs. As well as the material estimation and to mark up in their 300 G.A. dwgs. As per as-built isometric dwgs.
E) Jan. 2000 to May 2000. (offshore project) :
M/s Triune Projects Pvt. Ltd. (Delhi)
I was engaged with Triune projects Pvt. Ltd. as a designer piping in connection with the execution of the Veba Oil F02A Henze-field development production and storage platform (PSP), Netherland under Hyundai Heavy Industries & Doris Engineering . Assigned with the jobs of preparation, development, designeing & checking the piping G.A. and isometric drgs. for the above projects.
F) Jan. 1997 to Sep. 1999 :
M/s Jacobs Humphreys & Glasgow Ltd. Delhi / Kolkata
I was assigned as a senior design D/Man (piping) for their Phosphate Fertilizers Plant under M/s Oswal Chemical & Fertilizers Ltd, Paradeep (Orissa).Carried out preparation, development / designing, checking and material take off of the piping G.A. drwings for the above project.
G)Apr.1994 to Jan.1997 :

I have worked as a Sr. D/Man (piping) at their Delhi office, assigned with the job of development of composite piping layouts, isometrics, supporting arrangements, equipment layouts, material take-off, checking and reviewing the drawing for their M/s Southern Petrochemical Caustic Plant Project (SPIC).
