The system basically comprises of two transmitter pair (LDR) sensors pairs, which are installed on the highway 100 meters apart with the transmitter and LDR sensors pair on the opposite sides of the road.When
Vechile is interrupted by first IR sensor pair, the counter which is based on microcontroller programming start counting the time and stops when second IR pair has been interrupted.Now the distance is fixed and time is also known by the counter ,speed of vechile can be calculated and on comparing it with reference speed limit decision is made.
