Presently working in Pipavav Defense & Offshore Engineering Company Ltd. as Junior Engineer in Production (Blasting & Painting Cell) Department Since 04th November 2008 to till date.
Job Profile :
From 05th January'10 to till Date :-
Carry Out Surface preparation activities as per specification i.e. Panamax type Ship Blocks and Outfitting items.
Co-ordinate with design / Owner Representative to get specification, paint scheme, drawing for marking and sign Board writing.
To prepare activity wise B & P Departmental Plan with reference of availability of site / zone of ship and keep follow up with Production and SI department for further site availability.
To Co- ordinate with SCM to get sufficient Manpower, Consumables, Paint, spares for equipments and hired equipments for production before start of activity and keep record of the same to assess consumption.
Take readings of DBT,WBT, RH, Dew Point, Salt contamination, surface temperature of substrate before start and after completion any surface preparation activity to check the condition whether it meet with specification or not and keep record of the same.
Supervise surface preparation activities to ensure safe and congenial working condition with juniors and contractors persons.
After completion of each surface preparation activities inspect the area whether it meet with specific standards such as SA 2.5 surface & PSPC standard for double bottom area / blocks and other mention standards and specification.
Rectify the points if any before offering it to QC & Paint representative for final clearance and keep the record of the same.
To upkeep records of third party i.e. DNV, for Audit, in prescribe standard formats and safety documents i.e. HIRA Hazard Identification and Risk assessment & EAIA - Environmental Aspects and Impact Assessments ISO 14001 :2004 for safety Audits.
To upkeep the record of activities Project wise, Block wise and vendor wise
From 04th November'08 to 04th January'10 :-
Shift In charge of Auto Blast and Pre - joining area / Bay.
Co-Ordinate with SCM department and Segregate Raw Material project wise.
i.e. Mild Steel Plates of 6-40mm thick X 2500-4000mm width X 10000-12000mm length and L shape profiles.
Inspect the Raw Material condition and than accordingly clean the same with suitable process i.e. LP Water Cleaning below 5000 PSI and solvent cleaning.
In line the centrifugal Blasting with steel shots S 330 and automatic spray booth with Inorganic Zinc Primer and take Environmental reading such as DBT, WBT, RH, Dew Point, Surface temperature and Salt contamination, before start the surface preparation and painting.
Keep record of processed Material Project wise, Block Wise with Heat No. and Test No. and send them to respective Bays for further process i.e. Fabrication for Block Assembly.
Joining of Flat Panels of Ship's Block through SAW Welding.
Documentation work of Blasting & painting Department.
Well aware of Integrated Manufacturing Management System 4.0.0. For indenting & recording of Material & Service requirement and Billing.
